(1) The license granted under sub-rule (1) of rule 6 shall expire at the end of every financial year.
(2) According to sub-rule (1), every builder whose license period has expired shall submit an application to the chairman for renewal of license in the format as per Schedule-5, within three months from the date of expiry of the license period, attaching the renewal fee as per Schedule-2.
(3) After receiving the application for renewal of license according to sub-rule (2), the chairman shall renew the license after conducting the necessary examination on the application.
(4) If a construction professional who is unable to renew the license within the period specified in sub-rule (2) wishes to renew the license within six months after the expiry of such period, he shall submit an application to the chairman by attaching the additional fee as per schedule-2.
(5) After receiving the application according to sub-rule (4), the chairman shall renew the license after conducting the necessary examination on such license.
(6) Notwithstanding anything written elsewhere in this rule, in the case where the authority to grant license to the "D" category builders has been delegated to the District Development Committee in accordance with Rule 20, the District Development Committee shall renew the license of that category in accordance with this rule.
